Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Psalm 150:6
Recently I asked for prayers for my youngest daughter when a spot was discovered in her lung. She is a smoker, so there was definitely cause for concern. The CT scan revealed that the mass was non-malignant, a lump of calcification and fatty tissue that may date all the way back to childhood. The body uses these formations to cover and heal an irritant that has inadvertently gotten into the lung. My daughter and I both drew strength from the knowledge that many prayers were supporting her.
Our associate pastor at church was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in an advanced stage. During the medical discovery process, the hospital lost the original biopsy sample, which greatly hindered and delayed the treatment protocol. Thousands and thousands of prayers have ascended for months, as he endured heavy chemo and finally, a stem cell transplant. Last week he had another CT scan, and there was no trace of any cancer. He is in full remission – praise the Lord! Please continue to pray for Pastor Ben that this remission will last as long as possible. There is nothing too difficult for the Lord. What is impossible with men is possible with God [Luke 18:27].
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise Him, all creatures here below,
Praise Him above, ye heavenly host,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Amen.
